On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Kathy Cano ran the Nevada Day Classic in Carson City, Nevada!

Kathy didn’t go to the Nevada Day Classic alone; this was a family affair! Kathy and her granddaughter ran the 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk, Kathy’s daughter ran the 8K, all while Kathy’s husband and grandson cheered everyone on.

Kathy’s granddaughter was running with her cousin; at the start of the race, the two of them took off and (according to Kathy) left Kathy in their dust. Though she couldn’t match the speed of the young ones, Kathy had an incredibly solid race and won her age group! Meanwhile, her daughter finished the 8K in a blazing fast 33:33!

What a day for the Cano family! Congratulations to all!
