Lisa beams in her Lake Effect Quarter Marathon shirt while holding up her finisher medal!

Lisa Crockford was the sole athlete racing from Full Circle Endurance this weekend; she ran the Lake Effect Quarter Marathon in Minoa, New York on Saturday, February 18, 2023!

I often talk to the athletes I coach about how we have to play the hand we’re dealt - both in training and on race day.  This means really listening to what our body is saying and managing the conditions that are in play.  On Saturday, Lisa settled into a run/walk strategy that felt right for her that particular day, and it led her to success!

She felt strong throughout the entire 6.55 miles and was complimented by a spectator as she ran up a hill; the spectator cheered her on and told her how strong she looked!  Lisa kept up a solid, steady rhythm for the entire race and finished with a big smile!

Way to go, Lisa!
