On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Leslie Smith ran the EOD Warrior Dash in Washington, D.C.!

Leslie was excited to run this race as part of her birthday weekend festivities. Race day came, and conditions were quite soggy. Nevertheless, Leslie persisted, navigating the water, walking as-needed, and running when she could. She reported that “This was soooo far out of my comfort zone. But I did it, and it’s a different kind of badass feeling as I head into my next trip around the sun.”
