Many athletes need to use the pool to prepare for an event that includes open water swimming. It takes time and experience to learn how to leverage the pool in a way that translates effectively to the skills that open water swimming requires. This session will discuss how athletes can and should approach their pool training so that they are well-prepared for the transition to open water.
